Gather papers of various textures and sizes. We were focused on St Patrick's Day and Spring at the time, so I cut some construction paper into shamrock shapes and gathered other green paper scraps. Tape contact paper upside down on the floor or on a table top for your child and provide the paper for them to attach. For younger children, place some of the papers partially on the contact paper to encourage their exploration. Allow them to put the paper shapes on and off the paper until they lose interest.
