This one is less common, but I used this all the time as a kid. Meet: Gummed Paper Art Tape. It is completely unique tape. One side is paper (You can write on it and everything) and the other is sticky when you wet it. The options are pretty limitless with this stuff. It is a little pricey, but you get a ton of colors and huge rolls for the money. We got some around Christmas time and have barely made a dent despite using it several times a week.
