The oppressive heat and humidity have somewhat limited our time outside the past couple of weeks here in New York. The result is a lot more time for reading and re-reading our overflowing basket of library books. Our absolute favorites from this month are below.

Have a picky toddler? This might just be the solution to your problems. A pediatrician / blogger friend of mine wrote this book about feeding toddlers and sent me a copy to read. I found myself nodding along as I read because her advice follows the same low pressure, easy going, healthy eating lifestyle that we have tried to emulate with our twins. My kids' favorite lunch is hummus with carrots and snap peas with a side of fruit, so I think it works. Kerek describes this all in a simple way that maybe sounds too good to be true, but with some patience and perseverence it works and she has her own 4 healthy eaters to prove it. Find on Amazon
My book reviews are moving! I recently launched a new website, My Storytime Corner, that will be devoted to my great love of Children's Books and the learning they inspire. It might not look like much right now, but I have BIG plans and I am beyond excited. I will occassionally still share books here on Bambini Travel. They will be books that relate to the theme Learning Through Adventure. All other book reviews will be on My Storytime Corner. So if you love booklists and book reviews, then make sure to pop over and follow me on My Storytime Corner!
