Slice Different Kinds of Apples and Place in Bowls
Prep Your Paper with Spots for Notes about Each Apple Variety
We did this activity at snack time, however it could also be a separate activity. We sat at the table and offered them a whole apple of the first variety. They used their hands to explore the apple, I took notes about their observations, and then I asked if they wanted to taste it. I offered them a slice and again recorded their thoughts. We repeated this with the different varieties. (2 red, 1 yellow, and 1 green).
At the end, we voted on their favorite.
