Anytime we visit a Children's Museum I walk away with the reminder to add more texture to our days. Infants and Toddlers seem to thirst for unique sensory experiences and this is a fun one.
Attach bubble wrap to your table or child's high chair tray. Put a little paint on the bubble wrap and encourage your child to paint on the bubble wrap. Use words to describe the sensory experience such as; bumpy, wet, squishy.
When your child loses interest, you can help them make a print of their painting on a piece of paper if you desire.
Tape (to attach wrap to surface)
Paper (Optional - to make prints)
-Paint on other fun textures (foil, sandpaper, etc)
