365 Ways to Play with Your Kids with FREE Printable
An eager little head pokes around the corner and you know what's coming. "Mom, will you play with me?"
We all know that as parents we have a million things on our to do lists and it is impossible to spend our entire day playing with our kids.
BUT, we also know that play is important for kids.
Our kids need time and space and materials to play with almost as much as they need food and water. Play helps them grow. Play helps them learn. Play helps them process the world around them.
This year I set out to explore the role of play in childhood. (Those posts are all below in case you missed any!)
I also worked to provide a range of fun and simple ways to carve out some time in our daily routines for play. Today I have a treat!
All year I have been discussing play. Why does play matter? How do you help your kids play better? How can you support play?
That and more are covered in the posts below + a bonus at the end!
Below you can access a FREE printable with 365 Ways to Play. One for every day of the new year. These are simple ways to make little moments every day and even routines and chores more fun.
Obviously we aren't going to spend all day every day gleefully laughing and smiling, but I hope these ideas will help add more fun to your new year.
