Road Trip Play Ideas for Every Child
Every child is different.
Howard Gardener and his multiple intelligences has impressed that idea on every parent and teacher for decades. The push of individualized education and differentiated instruction is just another way of modernizing this idea. Every child is different. I have twins, granted boy/girl twins, but twins who have lived in the same house with the same parents and same experiences for the past four years and yet they are completely different. I say all this to say that what works for one child will not work for all children.
I have shared car trip activities for toddlers and preschoolers before and I do believe that between my two wildly different kids we have most bases covered, I thought I would approach road trip activities in a different way today. Hopefully, your child sounds like one or more of these kids. If not, feel free to let me know who I have missed and I will do my best to meet your needs!
