The Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater, MN has been on my list of to-dos with our children pretty much since I found out I was pregnant. A teddy bear park? Yes please! Plus an extra excuse to visit charming Stillwater? Double yes. We didn't make it there before our move to Wisconsin, but on our last trip to Minnesota before our move to Mississippi, we finally found time to visit the Teddy Bear Park. It did not disappoint.
Adorable teddy bears. Check. More importantly, it is an AWESOME playground. Tucked into the corner behind downtown, there is so much hidden in this gem. Trains and houses for imaginary play. Rocks and other climbing spaces. Pits of sand. We could have spent hours and hours exploring.
We made the most of our two hour window. My son loved the train climbing structure. My daughter loved the varied opportunities for climbing. Your child will find something to love.
*Park is open from 8a - 8p.
*If you have extra time, have lunch in Stillwater, explore the shops, and stop down by the waterfront to watch boats.
