The temperatures are finally starting to cool, the leaves are just starting to change, and everyone is geared up for football season. Fall has arrived in Mississippi.

Visit the Hello From Japan exhibit at the Mississippi Children's Museum from now until January 2016
*Visit the Nichols Boyd Pumpkin Patch for a hayride, animals, pumpkins and more
*Attend Look and Learn with Hoot (ages 2-5) or Hoot and Holler Family Creation (ages 5-7) at the MS Museum of Art
*Spend a day at the Mississippi State Fair. October 7-October 18
*Come out for an evening of fun at the Madison's Scarecrow Festival. October 15
*Drive down to Natchez for the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race. October 16-18
*Trick or Treat at the Jackson Zoo at the annual Boo at the Zoo. October 23 & 24
