Project Approach Themes

Learning through adventure means lots of field trips and active learning experiences.

These adventures, or field trips, outings, excursions, whatever you want to call them, are often driven by the interests of one or more of our twins.

We primarily follow the project approach to learning at home. My twins and I take their interests and questions and follow those wherever they lead us. We read books, go on field trips, watch videos, do experiments, play and more.

Below are our favorite Thematic Units or Interest Projects to date.
